Block Therapy

Our Block Therapy Program is a restorative bodywork practice that helps release tension, improve posture, and restore natural alignment. Using specially designed wooden blocks and guided breathing techniques, this program targets fascia the connective tissue that affects mobility, circulation, and pain.By applying gentle, sustained pressure to specific areas, Block Therapy helps unwind physical stress, open restricted tissue, and create lasting body awareness. It’s an ideal complement to martial arts training or yoga, supporting recovery, flexibility, and emotional calm for students of all levels.

The Block Therapy program is built on four key pillars that work together to heal, align, and strengthen the body. Each class follows a mindful sequence that connects movement and breath, encouraging participants to release deeply and restore balance.

  • Fascial Release: Gentle, sustained pressure softens and rehydrates fascia, releasing stored tension and improving mobility.
  • Alignment & Posture: Releasing restricted areas allows the body to realign naturally, enhancing posture and structural balance.
  • Breath & Circulation: Diaphragmatic breathing stimulates oxygen flow, improving tissue health and calming the nervous system.
  • Recovery & Awareness: Each session promotes deep relaxation and mindfulness, helping participants reconnect with their body and support overall recovery.

Block Therapy at SENOSEN Martial Arts offers a unique path to healing through stillness, breath, and gentle pressure. Each class is an opportunity to release what’s held — physically and emotionally — while improving circulation and posture. You will leave each session feeling lighter, freer, and more connected to your body — restored in both movement and mindset.
